Picture Title/Description/Cast Trivia

If You Think
Explosions will happen if you obey the on-screen text.
  • Announcer: Trevor
  • Exploding man: extras
  • Originally made for Trevor's public access TV show, which explains the dated video quality.
Dating Show04:54

Dating Show

Dating Show
Trevor hosts a dating game which derails into a commentary on offensiveness.
  • Host/Himself: Trevor
  • Bachelorette: Darren
  • Contestant 1/Himself: Sam
  • Contestant 2/Himself: Zach
  • Contestant 3/Himself: Timmy
  • In the live performances, the dialogue is much more graphic or ad libbed:
  1. Example 1
  2. Example 2
  3. Example 3
  • This sketch was the first shot in a studio for Season 1 (and you can tell by the shoddy lighting).
  • Sam the electrician from Napa Valley, California reappears in the Season 3 sketch Wheel of Money as Sam the convicted child molester from Nappa Valley, Arizona (which doesn't exist). The latter Sam claims he's been on TV before.
  • Zach's character is dressed like a Blade Runner.
  • Timmy's line "I want to fuck you in the face" is one of the top five Season 1 quotes.
  • Darren's wife Rachel thinks this sketch is absolutely disgusting.

Birds and Bees01:36

Birds and Bees

Birds and Bees
Dad tells his son about the gross facts of life.
  • Son: Timmy
  • Dad: Trevor
  • The very first non-live sketch the troupe shot for the TV show.
Ghost Tea Bag I03:13

Ghost Tea Bag I

Ghost Tea Bag 1
Zach goes to a spirit medium wondering if he'll get a promotion, and instead finds out he's being teabagged by ghosts.
  • Himself: Zach
  • Medium: Darren
  • The wig Darren's wearing makes his character look like Joe Perry (who coincidentally appeared alongside Zach in an episode of Homicide: Life on the Street).
PDVD 236
Girl Sympathy
A group of women evoke sympathy from each other by talking about their feminine issues.
  • Women: WKUK in drag
105-ghostteabag2
Ghost Tea Bag 2
The medium's prediction of Zach's promotion comes true.
  • Himself: Zach
  • Businessmen: Trevor, Timmy, Sam, Darren
  • When performed live in June 2010, Zach swung a folding chair around too high, causing a piece of insulation from the venue's ceiling to fall. Thankfully, no one was injured.
105-peeingleg
You're Peeing on My Leg
Two English gentlemen are at an impasse in the park.
  • English gentleman 1: Zach
  • English gentleman 2: Trevor
  • Boy: Timmy
  • During the shoot, Zach couldn't stop laughing. You can see him smiling quite obviously in several of the wide shots (with the two men shown together).
  • The machine - really a simple pump system - used to provide the endless stream of 'pee' was also used in the third episode's sketch Peeing. It was built by Darren's roommate Bill, who (according to Darren) is good at these things.
  • According to Trevor, families with small children would check out the shoot, thinking it's another Jane Austen movie being shot, and hurry away once they realized there was a man peeing on someone else.
  • On a note related to the ending, there are theories about the authorship of Shakespeare's plays. One such theory revolves around the idea that Sir Francis Bacon had written the plays and had them published under the name 'William Shakespeare'. The theory is rejected by most scholars.
105-johnwilkesbooth
John Wilkes Booth
During a play, John Wilkes Booth makes several failed attempts to assassinate Lincoln, who repeatedly calls for his security guard.
  • Abraham Lincoln: Zach
  • Mary Todd Lincoln: Timmy
  • John Wilkes Booth: Trevor
  • Security guard: Darren
  • Shot with the Abe Lincoln sketch. Both were filmed in the same theater, and in the same stuffy conditions (temperatures in the building were around 115°F/46°C because of poor design). During the shooting for this sketch, almost everyone had something uncomfortable going on: Zach's beard kept slipping off because he was sweating too much - you can actually see it coming off as Trevor's character beats Lincoln to the ground. Trevor had to sit behind a curtain next to the lights, which meant he was sweating continuously. Timmy's wig was stapled to his head. Only Darren escaped the heat - he was drinking Pepsi. (Sam plays a very minor character.)
  • Darren's job was to close the curtain after Trevor's character makes his exit. The first time he forgets it (Trevor fixes it in the background) but afterwards he remembers.
